Dr. Talal Almaghrabi, Director of the Saudi British Marketing and Management Association and CEO of Marketing and Communication Academy (MarCom), has been invited to participate in a roundtable meeting on “Risk and vulnerability in the global food system and implications for Saudi Arabia”. The meeting will take place at Chatham House in London on Monday 29th April.

The high-level workshop will comprise around 25 people, drawn from Saudi and GCC policy experts, regional banks, private sector actors and government policy leads. It will be held under the Chatham House rule to facilitate open discussion.

The workshop will focus principally on challenges and opportunities in key food importing countries and implications for international food security; an assessment of Saudi Arabia’s food security position and a discussion of the broader implications for the Saudi economy and the broader GCC region.

Following the event, Chatham House will produce a summary report of the proceedings to inform future research and policy on this topic. This roundtable will be held under the Chatham House rule to facilitate open discussion between participants.
